The date, the location, how many talent and how many looks. If there is a reference deck, send that too — it is faster than describing a look in words, and it tells me what the client has already signed off.

Commercial and editorial work is quoted by half day, full day, or a run of days, with travel separate so the number does not move later. Most briefs get a reply within 48 hours, usually sooner. If a date is already held I will say so immediately rather than leave you waiting.

For interviews, product commentary or credit requests, this is the right form. Published work and full credits are on the showcase, and anything recent tends to appear on Instagram before it reaches the site.

What a quote covers

A quote covers the shoot day, my kit, and the looks agreed in the brief. Travel is a separate line so it stays visible. If the brief changes between quote and shoot — more talent, more looks, a second location — I will requote rather than absorb it quietly and raise it afterwards.

Usage and licensing are between the client and the talent. Nothing in my rate limits where the images run. Overtime is quoted per hour and agreed on the day.

Kit, assistants and call times

I carry a full professional kit and work to whatever the brief needs rather than a house look. For larger talent counts or fast turnarounds I bring an assistant, quoted with the rest so the timings hold.

Call time means set up and ready for the first face. For an early call I will ask about load-in the night before where the location allows it. If the schedule is tight, send the run sheet and I will tell you honestly whether the looks fit the time.

Cancellations and holds

A date is pencilled on request and confirmed once the booking is agreed. If another makeup Sydney enquiry comes in for a pencilled date, I will come back to you before releasing it rather than letting it go quietly. Cancellations inside seven days are charged at half the day rate.
